La Tourelle Hotel & Spa

This Inn is charming and cozy! And, the staff are pleasant. There is EV charging available on request. I found the location fairly convenient. There's a small but adequate spa with a sauna and a steam room and two relaxation rooms. It's clear they prioritize cleanliness. I truly enjoyed my stay and have no complaints

The property itself is absolutely beautiful. The common areas are warm, cozy, and thoughtfully designed the fireplace lounge, stone walls, and soft lighting create such a relaxing atmosphere. The surrounding area is lovely as well, peaceful and scenic, which makes it a great place to unwind. The spa is also beautiful and offers a very calming environment. However, there were a few issues that really impacted our stay. The walls in the rooms are extremely thin you can hear everything. We could hear conversations clearly, doors constantly slamming when neighbors were coming and going, and even housekeeping in the morning while they were cleaning nearby rooms. It made it difficult to truly relax or sleep in. The spa itself is lovely, but it seems to be so fully booked that even hotel guests can’t get appointments. If you’re staying at the hotel, you would expect some type of reserved availability for guests. It was disappointing not being able to get in despite being on the property. The restaurant also needs some improvement. The menu felt limited and could use more variety. The burger we ordered was extremely overpriced for the quality, and we were also charged extra for fries something we weren’t informed about ahead of time. For the price point, the quality and portion didn’t match expectations. Overall, it’s a beautiful property in a lovely area, but the noise levels, spa availability, and restaurant pricing/menu selection took away from what could have been a perfect stay.

This hotel is so special. It is just a few miles outside of downtown Ithaca and within 10 minutes of both Cornell & Ithaca college. The people are extremely kind and accommodating. Their lobby is so quaint and the actual property really captures the energy of Ithaca. It is also attached to a Glamping site which is so cool and I would love to try next time!

The vine suite was just what we needed after a tiring week - plenty of space, separate rooms for adults and kids, and a cozy feel. The staff was helpful, communicative, and friendly! Thanks! Love the fireplace in the main building, too.

Such a cute place, the staff is incredible and the rooms were very large. The property is amazing, I wish it was warmer because I definitely would have camped in their camping area with their glamping tents and community area! Close to everything and the back yard backs up to buttermilk falls. I would definitely recommend and come back!

My daughter and I were going to visit Ithaca College and stayed here. It was ideal for us because we weren't looking to stay in the city. The room was large with high ceilings, the people running it were friendly, and it is about a 4 min drive to Buttermilk Falls. However, if you plan on taking advantage of their spa, you need to book in advance! Everything was booked up when I got there. Would definitely go back.

Our stay exceeded expectations. La Tourelle is close to Cornell & Ithaca but also felt private and out of the way. We had a room on the meadow/landscape side and it was extremely peaceful. The room was excellent and I felt staff went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay. We will definitely go back.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights to celebrate my birthday. The location is perfect, right outside of the city with stunning views of the countryside, but still very close and convenient to everything. The girl working at the front desk, Alissa, was very friendly and helpful. Our room was exceptionally clean and the bathrooms looked like they were remodeled recently. They always had a fire going in the lobby which made it so cozy along with their snack and coffee bar. They had a really cute and cozy bar and lounge that I wish we made time to enjoy. The only thing I would suggest is softer sheets. I felt like I was going to get rug burn, but I have sensitive skin and am sure most people wouldn’t mind them. I can’t wait to come back again in the summer and hopefully enjoy the spa next time as well as the fire pits they have outside!
